Dr. Kim discusses this case. 72 year old female. 5′ 2″ 142 lbs. Patient came to our office with a previous breast lift and augmentation from another surgeon. Patient wanted to correct capsulectomy, remove implants, replace and have a secondary lift. Patient is very happy with her results.
Dr. Kim discusses this case, this patient presented to my office having a previous augmentation with a different surgeon. On examination she had malpositioned breast implants, mainly due to undivided origination of the pectoralis major muscle. She lived this way for 10 years thinking she had capsular contracture. A simple removal and replacement with proper division of the muscle did the trick.
