Blepharoplasty, also known as eyelid surgery, is a surgical procedure that improves the appearance of men’s eyelids. This process is performed on the upper or lower lids or both. There are many reasons why men wish to receive blepharoplasty. Some of these include improving your appearance, assisting with functional problems, and rejuvenating the surrounding areas.
Blepharoplasty can treat loose or sagging skin, excess fatty deposits, bags under the eyes, drooping lower eyelids, and fine wrinkles of the lower eyelid.
We will first administer anesthesia for your comfort during the surgical procedure. Our surgeon is an expert at concealing scars so that they are not noticeable. For upper eyelid surgery, we will make an incision within the natural crease of your eyelid. We will then remove fat deposits, tighten the muscles, and remove excess skin. If we treat your lower eyelid, we make an incision below the lower lash line. We can then remove excess fat. Lastly, we close up the incisions.
